Treehouse Two

Our good friend Lauren Smith Ford, then at Tribeza Magazine, invited us to build a small playscape for a charity event at Breed & Co. benefitting Bastrop Fire Relief.

Our result reflected our belief that directed play (this is a slide; these are monkey bars) is limiting in nature. Children can do more with a large cardboard box than they can with a commercial playscape. This directed our design: a small tower with multiple levels of occupation within. A house for slumber parties. A tower to climb. A canvas to draw on. A fort.
