As our reputation has grown, our footprint has spread to places outside of Austin and Central Texas into places like Wyoming, Florida and (a little closer to home), Possum Kingdom Lake near Dallas / Fort Worth.
Our charge was to design a house that capitalized on the dramatic views of the lake while providing a private refuge from high-rise city living. We proposed this structure — a simple bar with essentially no windows on its street side, but housing two discrete enclosures to allow for partial occupation by our clients only, or for numerous guests when in entertainment mode.
Modern, but restrained — almost singular in its expression — PK House represents perhaps our most minimal designs coupled with one of our warmest interiors.
