One of three destination restaurants at Pullman Market in San Antonio. Working again with our friends at the Emmer & Rye team. The restaurant features sourdough pizza and fresh pasta. We were working within an historically significant structure at the greater Pearl Brewery campus. It had previously served as a glass fabrication facility.
There is no way to compete with a building like this. We chose to design the restaurant as an inhabitation and allow the building itself do the heavy lifting.

People often think of architecture as an aesthetic enterprise. So much of what we do is about function… the kitchen, the expo, the myriad functions that are hidden from the diners. Done well, it is silent.
